Update 8/12: looks like the problem is solved. For now anyway!

Apparently Blogger is having some trouble with the followers gadget. If you are following me (and if not I'd love it if you would!) please be patient. Your picture will appear again under Followers eventually.

Seems to me that Blogger is having several issues lately. Let's hope they straighten them  all out soon!
